You may not find it luxurious but certainly good enough with basic facilities.. I liked it. There is canteen inside, where they provide the food also which also again good.Prashant Kullihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02508187812049227225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7349702242818456561.post-55382820327107707762009-06-03T15:03:24.780+05:302009-06-03T15:03:24.780+05:30Thank you very much Prashanth. However, try the following contact number. It is Mysore Forest office phone number, whom we were supposed to contact. Just talk to him (in Kannada if possible), ask them how to book the guest house.
Phone - 08212480901

Better yet, if you know anyone working in Govt sector, ask them to arrange for it. They consider govt employees instantly..

Hope that would be of some help..Prashant Kullihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02508187812049227225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7349702242818456561.post-8818630853463704752009-06-03T11:48:13.919+05:302009-06-03T11:48:13.919+05:30Hi Prashanth,

Really encouraging :)

btw the elephant is a pet. We saw it coming from the jungle and thought it to be a wild elephant until we saw it's legs tied with chain :-) But it is tamed by only one person there it seems. I still remember how it opened the tap by itself, and for half an hour it played with water.Prashant Kullihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02508187812049227225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7349702242818456561.post-78239044318639442562009-05-08T09:14:00.000+05:302009-05-08T09:14:00.000+05:30Nice post... good description... keep writing! :) ...Nice post... good description... keep writing! :)

I loved Nagarhole. There were so many deer, birds, and monkeys! I don't remember the road looking as smooth as it is in your picture though (when we were there, it was full of holes)! It's a great picture of the morning mist.

I like the blurred pic of the elephant... when I was there, one of the elephants came really close and looked like it was going to charge... it was grunting and apparently angry. If I was holding a camera, my picture would have been blurry to say the least... more likely I would have dropped it. :)

Is the picture of the elephant splashing itself with water a wild elephant or one of the pets? She looks so happy!Kristinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18437809201788448184noreply@blogger.com
